A new survey shows that the opinion of the majority of Americans, is that the United States is less respected in the world than it was two years ago. I thought that genuflecting to foreign kings during the 2009 World Apology Tour was all that was needed for the world to love us?
"LEAVE CHAVEZ ALONE!!!!! HE"S NOT A DICTATOR! BWAAAHHH!"
Sean Penn is just another in a long line of Hollywood leftists, who are "all about" free speech as a concept, but feel that it applies only to them. He is quoted as saying that he wants folks jailed, for having the cheek to call Dictator Hugo Chavez, a dictator.
"We have wasted a year trying to get Republicans to do the right thing"
I have heard several variations of this statement, repeated like a mantra by Democrats, ever since the "historic" health care summit. This is a rather lame argument. You Dems control both houses and even had a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. The fact is, you spent the last year arguing amongst yourselves, buying each other's votes and devising elaborate plans to overrule the will of the American people. The Republicans had nothing to do with your apparent failure to achieve your holy grail of universal health care.
Rahm "Look I'm Circumcised" Emanuel
I was going to make a StickVision based on this incident, but then I would have to visualize it. Rahm, two words for you dude...personal space.
"Divide and Fail"
Mitt Romney has warned tea partiers that third party candidates could be disastrous. He's right you know? Tea Party backed candidates could be responsible for derailing the campaigns of Republican establishment candidates (like him) and causing future Dem victories. This is a necessary risk. We have to stop thinking in a "lesser of two evils" mentality and do what is right and good for the United States. Palin and Romney are both big fans of the tea party—if it will just consent to being absorbed and help flip the toggle switch of power back to the Republican party.
